[VERSION 2 UPDATE: With the first version of this test performing well on desktop and tablet devices, but poorly on mobile, we will retest this on the former two devices to deliver a clearer result] Based on heat map evidence, more buyer-based users interact with the "Find a Timeshare" nav item than the homepage search. To try and convert more owners who land immediately on the home page, we'll eliminate the search feature and replace it with a two-option dropdown menu for Owner Sell and WMTW. We'll also incorporate some new copy to appeal more to owners, including a new H2 and a some paragraph copy.
Displaying 20 of 101 experiments
Sell Time Headline (v3)
Optimizing the H1 on the Sell Timeshare page will allow us to more effectively capture valuable owner leads
Sell Timeshare Form Enhancements (v2)
With the failure of Version 1 of this test, we'll try a more subtle approach at enhancing the sell timeshare form. Instead of completely changing the color scheme, we will make minor improvements such as increasing form field height, fixing spacing issues, and adding other stylings to make this form more noticeable.
Sell Timeshare Background (v4)
After three previous versions came up short, we will test another two background image variants on the Sell Timeshare page. This variant will try removing the image altogether, instead opting for a gray-colored background.
Sell Timeshare Page Re-Order (v3) [D/T]
Version 2 of this test indicated that changing the order of testimonials at the top of the page was more effective among desktop users. Alongside a concurrently running test on mobile, this test will try the winning variant from Version 2 on desktop and tablet devices to deliver a clearer result.
Sell Timeshare Page Re-Order (v3) [Mobile]
Through two previous experiments, we've observed mobile users on the Sell Timeshare page become distracted or discouraged by the testimonial slider section. In Version 3 of this test, we will try removing the testimonials altogether to gain a clearer result. This will be a mobile-only test.
Top Bar Redesign – Global (v2)
This test will add a highly-visible sell timeshare call out in the top bar, and will also change the bar's positioning to stick to the top of the page when scrolling, exposing users to a constant call to action and boosting vital owner sell CVR.
Sell Timeshare Page Reorder (v2)
Version 1 of this test moved the testimonials block further down the page for mobile users only, resulting in a slight increase in conversion rate. Here, we'll test the same variant again for all devices, plus a second variant that keeps the block in place, but showcases a different testimonial on page load.

Home Page Owner Focus
Based on heat map evidence, more buyer-based users interact with the "Find a Timeshare" nav item than the homepage search. To try and convert more owners who land immediately on the home page, we'll eliminate the search feature and replace it with a two-option dropdown menu for Owner Sell and WMTW. We'll also incorporate some new copy to appeal more to owners, including a new H2 and a some paragraph copy.
Sell Page Submit Page Button Text
Rearranging the Sell Timeshare page to make the form the center of attention will result in more Owner Sell leads. This test also removes the nav from the page, which will decrease user willingness to click through other pages
Remove Search on Key Shell Pages
Removing navigation search bars on key owner-based pages has previously proved successful in other areas. Within the Shell suite, we will target three pages: Sell Timeshare, Market Value, and the Main page. With the Main page already containing a hero search feature for interested buyers, this should be an effective way to boost Owner Sell and MVS conversion rates within this critical suite.
Sell Timeshare Background Image (v3)
Testing a different background image on the Sell Timeshare page to determine its impact on Owner Sell conversion rates.
Top Bar Redesign – Global
This test will add a highly-visible sell timeshare call out in the top bar, and will also change the bar's positioning to stick to the top of the page when scrolling, exposing users to a constant call to action and boosting vital owner sell CVR.
Inventory Slide In – Owner Sell
With the MVS version of this test not gaining much traction, we'll try a more concrete "sell your timeshare" message with a link to the sell page to boost Owner Sell conversions
Sell Form Headline – Shell
Adjusting the form headline on Shell's primary sell form to include popular owner-sourced keywords and seller-motivated language will allow us to greater boost Owner Sell CVR.
Sell Timeshare Page Reorder – Mobile
After observing a considerable number of mobile users leaving the Sell Timeshare page after viewing the testimonials block, this test will move said section further down the page, seeking to lower the segment's particularly high bounce rate and boost CVR.

Homepage Intent Select
Adding a dropdown-style call to action to the home page will help better direct users to conversion pages that match their interests. This kind of interactive feature will get them into key conversion tunnels more quickly, while reducing confusion from blended intent messaging. If successful, this experiment could also open the door to further site personalization strategies.
