Sell Timeshare w/ Brand Sell Links
Testing possible conversion rate impact by adding a section with links to brand-specific sell timeshare pages. Experiment designed in coordination with SEO team.
RCI Main Page – Sell Form
Changing the main RCI page's form from an ULF to a sell-focused form will enable us to appeal directly to owners who arrive at the page via sell-based keywords. Being able to convert them upon entry to the site would eliminate the need to direct them to another page, thus reducing drop offs and improving owner cvr
Westgate Resales Form – Sell Time
This page sees a lot of owner interest from organic search sources. Replacing the ULF form on this page with a sell-only form will allow us to speak directly to owners arriving at this page and will increase Owner Sell CVR.
Resales Page Intro Copy
This page attracts a sizable number of owner based leads, yet the opening copy is inherently buyer-focused. Considering this may turn off potential owners from making a conversion, we'll change the opening paragraph to be more owner-friendly, including key phrases that have proved successful in other owner based tests. Any potential SEO impact will be determined pending the experiment’s success or failure.
Sell Timeshare Back to Top Button – Mobile
Adding a back to top button will help mobile users quickly navigate back to the top of the page where they can find the form, increasing the chances of a conversion and lowering the chances of a bounce or drop-off
Seller Pages Call Out
The Seller pages on this site don't typically see many owner conversions compared to the primary Owner Sell page, which brings in the vast majority of Sell Timeshare leads. Adding highly visible call outs to the Sellers, Seller FAQ, and Seller Testimonials pages will drive more traffic through to the Sell Timeshare page, where users are more likely to convert.
Sell Timeshare Background Image – Blurred Variants (v2)
Based on a winning variant on the WMTW funnel, we are testing two blurred background images for the the sell timeshare form page. The hypothesis is that blurring the images makes the experience more focused and less distracted by bringing the copy/form to the forefront and eliminating any possible negative reactions to the subject matter of the image.
Timeshare Resales Form Position – Mobile
Raising the position of the main lead form on mobile devices to this page and making small, mobile-friendly improvements will enable us to capture a greater number of Owner Sell leads on this top landing page
Remove Inventory Buttons – Sell Time
Simply removing the inventory buttons on the Sell Timeshare page will allow users to become more focused on the form and drive Owner Sell conversions.
Sell Timeshare – Pared Content
Trimming down some unnecessary content that may not be seen by a large percentage of visitors will help improve site load speeds, user experience, and Owner Sell conversions.
How to Sell a Timeshare – Minimized Copy
Cutting down some of the unnecessary content sections of this page will lead to improved page load times, easier navigation of information, and encourage more owner leads
Home Page Utility Bar Seasonal Messaging – Spring
The time-sensitive utility bar copy we employed after New Year's Day proved effective at targeting owners anxious about maintenance fees, and drove owner-based conversions. As we enter spring, we'll try a few variations on this utility bar messaging, moving away from the "new year" based copy and opting instead for more generalized, yet still urgent, motivating factors.
Sell Timeshare Background Image – Blurred Variants
Based on a winning variant on the WMTW funnel, we are testing two blurred background images for the the sell timeshare form page. The hypothesis is that blurring the images makes the experience more focused and less distracted by bringing the copy/form to the forefront and eliminating any possible negative reactions to the subject matter of the image.
Maintenance Fees Util Bar – Resales
To capitalize on the rush of owners looking to sell their timeshare this time of year, we'll re-optimize the utility bar on the Timeshare Resales page to induce more urgency and get more people to essential forms
Home Page MF Call Out (v2)
We will refine the previously successful maintenance fee-based utility bar by creating language that's a bit softer in urgency. This will help reduce the negative impact among Buyers while still buoying improved Owner Sell and MVS conversion rates.
Owner Utility Bar (v3)
After the last utility bar test, we found that incorporating an Owner Sell option both slightly increases conversions for that goal type, as well as slightly reduces market value leads. As a solution to this problem, we'll borrow from a recently successful SMTN test and try a highly-visible, two-option utility bar to maximize visibility for timeshare owners
Owner Utility Bar (v6)
Once again, we will try the Owner Utility Bar on this site, but optimize it to include language surrounding rising maintenance fees. This will appeal directly to the spike of owners visiting the site looking to sell their timeshare, and will increase Owner Sell and MVS CVR.
Annual Fees Util Bar – 2019 MF Copy
The Annual Dues page commands a large portion of traffic on the site. Adding a highly-visible, anxiety-inducing call to action that references rising maintenance fees will attract more MVS and owner sell conversions
Home Page MF Call Out
To capitalize on the rush of owners looking to sell their timeshare this time of year, we'll re-optimize the utility bar on the home page to induce more urgency and get more people to essential forms
