Post-Mortem Analysis

The purpose of this experiment was to make the search field more visible and increase the number of interactions with the search function. Moving it into the white space of the page and including some gray placeholder text fulfilled the objectives of the experiment, increasing search interaction by 43%, which in turn drove more buyer offers to ads.

This experiment demonstrates a need to make inventory pages on many minisites more user-friendly. The more ways we have to quickly direct users to ads they might submit offers on, the more buyer leads we can expect to see.
